First Day of School

Tessa started First Greade today. She was very excited. She couldn't wait to go outside to wait for the bus. She wanted to go out at 7:30 when the bus was scheduled to come at 7:52. Rob says she has my "patience". Or lack thereof, since I don't have much! I convinced her to sit down to watch tv for a few minutes until it was time to go out. That seemed to appease her for the moment. We did go out at 7:40 just in case the bus came early. The bus was 20 min late! I was anxious as it was, so the bus not coming close to on time just about put me over the edge. Tessa was complaining about being cold as it was chilly outside. She had a sweater on with her dress, but she was still cold. When the bus finally came at 8:10, we were both relieved. I did not cry like I thought I would. Not that it would be a bad thing. When Tessa got home this afternoon, she told me she had a good day. She already had art class and drew a sweet picture of herself and flowers (if I can figure out how to post the picture I will). She likes her teacher and already had homework! I'm looking forward to watching her learn and discover all the things First Graders do.

All About Tessa

Tessa is my 6 yr old daughter. She is sweet, funny, loving, thoughtful, and strong willed and will argue over everything. She loves princesses and dressing up. Her favorite color is pink. She loves books, coloring, drawing and writing. She is very interested in learning which I am thankful for. She is most defienitly a daddy's girl. Always has been. She is a big sister to Kaley whom she adores. And Kaley adores her right back.
I am starting this blog mainly to keep family and friends who live far away posted on what Tessa is doing. I might even vent a little from time to time (note that I mentioned she is strong willed and argues!) I love being a mommy and feel very blessed to have my girls in my life. I will be writing more about Tessa's personality and more as I blog. Hope you enjoy!
